I am the manager of the Abbott Laboratories Diagnostic Division Packaging Laboratory. The lab is responsible for testing Diagnostic Kit packaging, including small (1cc) vials up to 20 liter containers. We are self-certified to perform CFR-49 and ICAO testing for Infectious and Chemical kits. In addition,
a significant amount of dry and wet ice shipper qualification work is performed by the lab. We are currently taking on work for other divisions of Abbott and hope to begin offering services outside of Abbott in the near future!
