West Names Sales Manager

The West Company has named Don McMillan as Western Regional Sales Manager and Patty Kiang as Western Regional Account Executive. They will be responsible for the Company’s current and emerging customer accounts west of the Rocky Mountains. Mr. McMillan joined The West Company as plant engineer at the St. Petersburg, Fla., facility in 1984. From 1992 to 1994, he served as operations manager for West’s Singapore plant and from 1994 to 1995 he was responsible for business development in the Asia/Pacific region. In 1995, he joined the corporate staff as Director of Operations, responsible for the Company’s North American rubber and metal operations and for the process engineering group. Dr. Kiang joined The West Company in 1974 and has held positions in quality control, research and development and technical support for parenteral drug packaging components. She was most recently Director of Technology Development. She is also an instructor for the Parenteral Drug Association short course, Parenteral Packaging. The West Company designs and manufactures high-quality elastomer, metal and plastic packaging systems and medical device components for the global pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
