Effective November 4, 1996 Robert L. Singleton has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of Russell-Stanley Corp. Russell-Stanley is a manufacturer of industrial containers headquartered in Red Bank, NJ operation eight plants in the US producing steel and plastic drums ranging in size from 5 to 55 gallons.

Prior to joining R-S he served as Vice President, Materials of Rexam, Inc a unit of Rexam, a United Kingdom based holding company with sales of $4 million. Prior to that he was General Manager of GE's world wide LEXAN business.
