AIRP: Air Packaging Technologies Announces Capital Improvement Program

Productivity and efficiency to be upgraded as interest in the Company’s products increases

Valencia, California, USA, September 28, 2000/PR Newswire/- - Air Packaging Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: AIRP), award-winning innovator in patented inflatable packaging, today announced the commencement of a major capital improvement program. The program, which will involve all Air BoxTM production machinery, will increase production capacity while at the same time increasing machine efficiency, yield and reliability.

Donald Ochacher, CEO and President of Air Packaging Technologies stated: “The capital improvement program has been designed by Garry Newman PE, the Company’s Vice President of Manufacturing and Engineering, in consultation with outside machinery experts. The marked increase in interest in our products throughout the world - coupled with the strategic partnership which we have recently entered into with a Fortune 500 company - will, we believe, result in a substantial increase in sales during the next eighteen months. This capital improvement program will prepare us for these increases as they materialize. Thanks to the financial help provided by our investment banker, Givigest Fiduciaria SA, we have sufficient funds on hand to complete the capital improvement program.”

Mr. Ochacher added: “Mr. Newman is also working closely with outside consultants to develop a design for a new state-of-the-art machine, substantially boosting capacity beyond current levels. We anticipate requiring this added capacity within the next eighteen months.”
