ITW Mima moves to new home

This article submitted by Peter Vilardi on 8/22/96.

ITW Mima, manufacturer of stretch wrapping machinery and stretch film, recently moved their main corporate headquarters and machine manufactring facility from Boca Raton, Florida, to Tamarac, Florida. The new facility is 30% larger, allowing the company to increase production of their line of pallet unitizing equipment. Werner Diehl, VP of Engineering said, "Because we designed the building from the ground up, we were able to increase our efficiency through better product flow. Basically, raw material and purchased parts are received on one side of the building, and finished machines are shipped out the other side. We even have room for a very extensive R&D facility where extremely large packaging systems can be erected."

ITW Mima is an operating unit of Illinois Tool Works, Glenview, Illinois. The 20 year old company is the world's largest producer of stretch wrapping machinery and stretch film and offers a wide variety of each to serve a diverse group of applications. For more information, contact ITW Mima at .
