Bagged Desiccants by Amelco

Amelco Desiccants recently unveiled its new line of desiccant product named SORB-CLAY. SORB-CLAY desiccant bags are highly adsorbent clay (Montmorillonite Bentonite) packed in tear-resistant and clean room compatible Tyvek film by DuPont. These bags conform to US MIL-SPEC MIL-D-3464E Type I & II specification and comes in standard Unit sizes 1/6, 1/3, 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16. The new desiccant line is an addition to Amelco's SORB-GEL line of Silica Gel packed in various substrate materials including Tyvek, and other specialized nonwovens. SORB-GEL desiccants are extensively used in the fields of pharmaceutical, diagnostics, electronics and general packaging. SORB-CLAY is aimed to serve the increasing electronics and general packaging need for larger Unit bags -- which practically cost lower than silica gel desiccants.
