Sunmotor International manufactures a line of specialty d.c. pumps for operation by solar power. Sunmotor solar pumping systems utilize photovoltaic solar modules to operate submersible d.c. water pumps for remote locations not serviced by convention electricity without pollution, fuel and noise. Solar pumping sytems are an approprite energy solution for a growing number of remote applications such as: watering livestock and wildlife, village water supply, micro-irrigation, environmental protection of streams and wetlands, dewatering of contaminated soils, aeration of fish ponds. Our design philosophy is that solar pumps should be rugged, simple and serviceable.
