BIOGRAPHY Dick Taylor Dick Taylor started his career in the adhesive business. Later, he joined Griswold Engineering, suppliers of mechanical packaging systems. These systems incorporated equipment from such companies as Biner Ellison, Mateer, Doboy, Resina, Redington, Elliott, Hayssen, Lakso, Gottscho, Clamco, Parsons, and Padlocker. In 1964, International Paper Company acquired Griswold. Taylor formed and became manager of IP's Mechanical Systems Division. In 1970, Taylor became president of Curtis-Skilpak, supplying contract packaging services to companies such as Clairol, Union Carbide, Procter & Gamble, Schick, Bic, International Silver, Knickerbocker Toy and Hasbro. The company also operated a clean room in which they packaged and sterilized disposable medical devices for Acme United, Busse, Purdue Frederick and others. Taylor joined Hayssen Manufacturing Company, a subsidiary of Bemis Company in 1980. Later that year he was appointed president of the Bemis Machinery Company. In 1984, Taylor founded Packaging Personnel Company to offer search and recruiting services to the packaging industry. Robin Huettl Robin Huettl began her marketing career in the Promotions department of a commercial television station. She was then assigned to writing the promotional segments that advertise the stations news product. Huettl entered the industrial market by joining an aerial lift equipment company. She was responsible for the inside sales functions for various lines of custom ordered industrial lifts. In this position she worked closely with many paper converting, packaging, and processing companies. Robin joined Packaging Personnel Company in 1996. Since that time she has become known in the packaging machinery business as a very competent recruiter for the industry. She was appointed Vice President of Packaging Personnel in January of 1998. Walt Ellis Walt has spent his entire career in sales with the packaging machinery industry. In 1979, he joined Hayssen Manufacturing company, a subsidiary of the Bemis Company and one of the worlds largest manufacturers of packaging machinery. He was made General Sales Manager in 1990. In 1994, Ellis joined Sasib Packaging North America as Vice President of Sales. for the Paxall product line consisting of Clyborn Cartoning Machines, Parsons Scales, Packmaster Case Packers and Ricciarelli Vertical Form/Fill/Seal machines. In January 1998, Walt founded Packstaff, LLC for the purpose of servicing the package goods industry for Packaging Personnel Company, Ltd. His knowledge of and connections in the packaging industry will serve PPC clients well.
