Large test runs on a commercial can production line confirm our findings that giving a hexagonal structure to a can body contributes considerably to the reinforcement of cans. Strong arguments in favor of these cans: thickness reduction of 0% of the tinplate gauge is possible; Honeycomb structure supports design (leading to better can image); and consumers have a better grip on Hexacans.
